Cowcatcher Division of Lone Star Region purpose is to promote the greater fellowship of model railroading between model railroaders and to advance the hobby of model railroading wherever and whenever possible.  The Cowcatcher Division supports those objectives through their participation in train shows where possible, individual operating sessions hosted by clubs or layout owners, and membership in the North Texas Council of Railroad Clubs. 

Currently the Cowcatcher Division, headed by Director Chris Atkins, has over 130 members.  Meetings are generally held the third Saturday of February, May, August and November at the Lockheed Martin Recreation Area in Ft.
