Modular On30 narrow-gauge Yahoo Internet group centered around greater Austin. Part of the "Texas Outlaws" On30 confederation. Uses slightly modified NMRA modular layout standards and DCC. Group meets to assemble layouts for operation when / where / as space available. A frequent participant in train shows and events throughout Texas. Contact Clark or David for further information.
Corpus Christi Model Railroad Club (CCMRC)

Clubhouse / layout location: 821 Louisiana Street (in the old firehouse). Permanent & modular HO & N-scale layouts. Business Meetings: 1st Tuesday, 7:30 pm. How-to Clinics: 2nd Tuesday. Layout open almost every Saturday morning. Uses DCC radio control.
Gulf Coast Society of Model Railroaders (GCSMR)

Padre Island Drive, Suite 83A - Corpus Christi, TX 78412 (between Staples and Airline). Meetings Thursdays 7pm. Operating Sessions: Saturday (12-6pm) & Sunday (1-5), open to the public. Layout built from NMRA standard modules; total size 15' X 50'. Operating "G"-gauge loop around the room overhead.

Meet in members homes every Wednesday; sometimes meet at Driscoll Children's Hospital for work on children's layout. Modules depict generic Midwest American scenes. Modules are built to NMRA HO standards, but with extra layout height for scenic realism. Members' encompass a wide variety of interests, skill levels, and prototype railroads. The Society has displayed its layout in numerous train shows and other venues in Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and New Braunfels, and the George Bush Presidential Library in College Station.
